It promotes studies on how rituals, arts, folklore, and traditional practices are preserved, transformed, and revitalized amid modernization and globalization. Research may explore the historical meaning of cultural customs, the role of heritage sites in collective memory and education, and the interaction between tradition and contemporary society.
