PEMASANGAN ALAT PERAGA KAMPANYE DIHUBUNGKAN DENGAN PASAL 27 AYAT (1) PERATURAN KOMISI PEMILIHAN UMUM NOMOR 15 TAHUN 2023 TENTANG KAMPANYE PEMILIHAN UMUM DI KECAMATAN BAREGBEG KABUPATEN CIAMIS

Abstract

The installation of campaign safeguards is a common practice at the time of the general election. However, many general election participants violate the rules by installing the campaign safekeeping tools before entering the campaign time phase. It is regulated in the General Election Commission Regulations No. 15 Year 2023 on the General election campaign. The problems studied in this study are regarding the installation of the campaign security equipment in connection with Article 27 paragraph (1) of the Regulations of the General elections Commission No.15 Year 2023, on the Election Campaign in the Baregbeg district of Ciamis district, the obstacles and efforts to install the campaign safety equipment are linked to Article 27 para.
The method of research used is a descriptive analytical method used to solve a problem by collecting data, classification, analysis, conclusions, and reports using a method of normative jurisprudential approach, i.e. legal research carried out by studying library or secondary material as a basic material to be thoroughly examined by conducting a search of regulations and literature related to the problem being studied.
Based on the results of the research it can be concluded that the installation of the campaign guards is linked to Article 27 paragraph (1) of the Regulations of the General Election Commission No. 15 Year 2023 on the Election Campaign in the Baregbeg district of Ciamis district district, that is still not in accordance with the installation procedure and does not comply with the regulations in force. The obstacle is the assumption that the existence of a rule is merely symbolic, it is done by a number of people who do it intentionally with the intention and purpose of influencing society as if there were rules or not it is the same. The Baregbeg District General Election Supervisory Commission has made some efforts to minimize such matters including surveillance and education to the public. It is expected that the government will formulate a regulation containing sanctions with affirmations that can have a negative effect on the candidates, the organizers of the general election, and the participants in the general elections. For the General Election Oversight Commission should be more able to identify the potential virginity of violations of the installation of campaign safeguards. Then for the people to be able to monitor and participate together in controlling so that there is no fraud in the general election.
