Literature Review Gambaran Pengetahuan, Sikap, Perilaku Tenaga Kesehatan Terhadap Penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri Selama Periode Covid-19

Abstract

COVID-19 is a disease that is transmitted, one of them through the air, which causes symptoms such as fever, shortness of breath, cough, diarrhea which was first discovered in Wuhan. Currently, health workers are at the forefront of handling patients who are positive for the Covid-19 virus infection. However, this is what causes health workers to become a group that is vulnerable to infection because most of the factors exposed to covid disease are caused by not knowing how to use personal protective equipment according to SOPs. The purpose of this Literature Review is to describe the knowledge, attitudes, behavior of health workers towards the use of PPE. The design in this study uses a literature review. The research subjects used national and international journals obtained using the PubMed, Proquest and google scholar research databases using the keywords knowledge OR Knowledge AND attitude OR Attitude AND Behavior OR Compliance AND Personal Protective Equipment OR Protective equipment use OR PPE Compliance AND Covid-19 OR Coronavirus Disease 2019, OR Covid-19 pandemic OR Pandemic Covid 19. Literature was conducted in June-July 2022. The journals used in this study were published in 2020-2022. The results of the search and selection of journals using PRISMA obtained 10 relevant journals. The 10 journals in this literature review show that there are 7 journals that have good knowledge, 3 journals of sufficient knowledge. Then for the attitude of the 3 journals have a positive attitude and from 1 journal has a good behavior. From journals that have been reviewed by researchers, health workers who have good knowledge have a positive impact on attitudes and behavior in the use of personal protective equipment for COVID-19. So that there is a small risk of exposure to an infectious virus such as Covid-19.
