Ciloseh River is a river that stretches from the regency to the city of Tasikmalaya with a river length of 9000 m. Ciloseh River is silting as a result of sedimentation and erosion. In addition, the impact of these problems resulted in a decrease in the function of the weir as a flood barrier and harmed the surrounding community affected by the flood disaster. Seeing the impact of siltation in the Ciloseh River Basin, it is necessary to conduct research on sedimentation rates to determine the pattern of sedimentation distribution. The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of basic sediment transport and find out the application model of hec-ras in the analysis of basic sediment transport.
The method used in this study is a quantitative method with data sources from literature studies and observations. then continued by analyzing sediment transport using the Meyer Peter Muller and Englund-Hunsen methods and modeling sediment numbers with HEC-RAS applications.
The amount of sediment transportation in the Ciloseh River using the Peter Muller Meyer Method (MPM) is 1,941 m3 / day Then the use of the Englund-hunsen method obtained sediment transportation results of 48 m3 / day. The results of hec-ras modeling on the Ciloseh River using the Englund-hunsen method of sediment transport amounted to 43,547 m3 / day. The highest degradation downstream at Sta 7 + 500 with the addition of elevation at Sta is 0.0016 m. while the decrease in elevation (degradation) occurs at Sta 0 + 000 by 0.0061 m.
